On behalf of Phases of Design, I want to introduce myself and design firm to you and your colleagues. 

I have been working in the industry my entire life. Growing up in Montana my family designed and built each home we lived in, not as a business but as a hobby and way to save money. In the late 1980s and through the majority of the 1990s materials were inexpensive and code regulations were not as restrictive. This allowed capable craftsman to build their own residences. My father taught me the intricate details that are required to properly execute all phases of construction. Through this experience, my passion for design was discovered.

I studied Interior Design at The Art Institute of Colorado, receiving my BA, with extended studies in Interior Architectural Design.  From there I was hired by a boutique Kitchen and Bath firm located in Cherry Creek, Denver CO. while continuing my education at the Art Institute of Colorado receiving an ASS in Kitchen and Bath Design.  
In 2011 I designed a residential project in Dickinson, ND. which opened the door for an opportunity to sign on with a startup engineering firm in 2012.  I was the lead building designer for mainly commercial projects and completed 30+ designs before opening Phases + Design in August 2014.  I completed the national interior design certification exams in 2015, and am a Registered Interior Designer.  
My husband and I transferred to Houston, TX in 2017.  I devoted my time to an award-winning architectural firm as the Lead Interior Designer and a Custom Residential firm's Building Designer.  Working on both large-scale innovative commercial projects and luxury residential design in a fast-paced city was a dream of mine.  Having the opportunity to do so broadened my knowledge of design and business practice which I will carry through to future projects.  
My family moved to Midland, TX. April 2020.  I am excited to discover the area and provide custom design to this expanding city.
